Island Batik Ambassador and ByAnnie Challenge from Curlicue Creations

For the month of October, the Island Batik Ambassadors were challenged to sew a ByAnnie bag. I made the Ultimate Travel Bag 2.0.

Introducing: The Cherry Tree quilt, a half square triangle (HST) adventure in pink and teal.

The Cherry Tree quilt is featured in the new Annie's book, Two Color Quilts.

Here's a few of the blocks on my design wall during construction. I used Island Batik foundation fabrics for my project. The pink is Flamingo, and the teal fabric is Bermuda. Hexagon Project Update from Curlicue Creations

This project has come a long way since my last update! I'll bet you can see what it is now. It's nearing the finish of the hexie piecing. I may have to stop and make a few more black hexagons. I'm almost out of them. It's exciting to see it coming together.

Meet the Cross River Gorilla, an Endangered Species challenge quilt made with Island Batik Fabric and Aurifil Thread.
