Pinktober Blog Hop from Curlicue Creations

Hello and welcome to the first day of the Pinktober Breast Cancer Awareness blog hop.  This is the quilt I made for the hop, Heart Match.

When I heard about the Pinktober blog hop, hosted by Brianna at Sew Cute and Quirky I signed up right away.  I've experienced breast cancer first hand and am happy to say I've been cancer free for 15 years.

This hop is being sponsored by Island Batik.  They sent me this beautiful 10" stack of Positively Pink precuts, plus some coordinating yardage in pink and white that I used to make my ...

Here's the pattern.  You can find this pattern, plus a helpful add-on video on the ByAnnie.com website.  This is the third ByAnnie pattern I've sewn, and my favorite so far.  The step-by-step directions are written clearly and each step has a little box to check off, which keeps me on track and feeling accomplished.

This is my Island Batik Ambassador project for the Month of May.  I'm calling it Triangle-A-Go-Go table runner.

For this month we were challenged to make a quilt featuring, you guessed it:  Triangles!  I do love triangles, and I had a great plan for this quilt.  But....when I really sat down and started designing it, I changed my focus, and decided to make a table runner instead.

I pulled out the Graphix 10" precuts stack and hot pink stash builders rolls that I received in my January box.  I love pink in my kitchen and these two colors ...

Divide and Conquer progress from Curlicue Creations

Do you remember my small Divide and Conquer bag I made for the Island Batik ByAnnie.com challenge?  I'm sure I mentioned that I'm also making this in the large size.  It had to go on the back burner for a while so I could finish up a few other projects, but I had some time to work on it one day this week.

Disclaimer:  The products used to make this project were given to me by Island Batik and industry partners.

This is one of the side strips for the bag.  You can see the the beautiful ...

Hello!  Welcome to my day on the Island Batik Ambassador Storm at Sea blog hop.  This is my Storm at Sea quilt, made with the new Petal Pathway fabric collection by Kathy Engle.  My quilt is still a top, as it took a lot longer to piece together than I had planned.  I wasn't even sure I liked it until I took this photo.  Sometimes it's hard to see how a quilt is coming out while you're working on it up close.

I am copying from Island Batik relative document: “Use the Studio 180 Design tool you received in your second Ambassador box to make a quilt of any size!
