Starry Dawn Quilt and Pattern ~ New! from Curlicue Creations

A new year and a new pattern.  2023 is going to be a great year, I just know it.  This is the Starry Dawn quilt.

Starry Dawn is a log cabin variation that incorporates a star block in the middle, where the chimney fire would be in a traditional log cabin block.

The Starry Dawn pattern is available in my Etsy Shop and in select quilt shops across the USA.
It is one of the quilts I made for the Island Batik catalog.

New in the Curlicue Creations Shop ~ Week of 12/20/2022 from Curlicue Creations

The Nectar quilt pattern is a fun to sew applique medallion quilt. This pattern makes a finished size quilt approximately 48" x 53". The model is shown sewn in the Bee Hive Buzz fabric collection by Island Batik.

Step by step instructions accompanied by full color diagrams.

This pattern is written for simple fusible applique, rotary cutting, and machine piecing. Other methods may be used to get similar results.

Introducing: The Ringmaster quilt.  An intricate looking pattern made with two blocks and straight seams that gives an illusion of curves.

The Ringmaster quilt and pattern appears in the new issue of McCall's Quilting magazine.  It's the March/April 2022 issue.  Ringmaster is on pages 26 through 31.

Faith Quilt Block and Pattern from Curlicue Creations

This is the Faith Quilt Block.  This pattern has been in my Etsy shop for a while.  I recently decided to make another block with it.  

This pattern is written for fusible applique, but could easily be adapted to other styles of applique.  What's your favorite?

Sometimes I enjoy making bias stems, but in this case, as the stem is one big circle, I used fusible applique for it, too.
