Lindy Hop Quilt and Pattern from Curlicue Creations

Introducing Lindy Hop! This is the third quilt I made to coordinate with Berry Crush, my signature fabric collection with Island Batik Lumin Fabrics.

Berry Crush is available in local quilt shops now, along with the Lindy Hop pattern. I used all 20 of the fabrics from the Berry Crush fabric in my quilt.

Here is one block I made for this quilt. The curves are so easy to do with fusible web applique.

Chessie was my companion whilst making Lindy Hop. She loves a good piece of batting. So cuddly!

Special Delivery Quilt and Pattern from Curlicue Creations

It's a Special Delivery ~ just for you! The Special Delivery quilt is one of my newest patterns.

The blocks in this quilt suggest pretty packages and the triangles pointing in different directions give it movement. Packages are on their way to make someone smile. Special Delivery!

This quilt finishes at 44" x 57". It's a great size for a couch throw or a small children's quilt.

I used Island Batik's Holiday at Home fabric for my quilt.

A new year and a new pattern. 2023 is going to be a great year, I just know it. This is the Starry Dawn quilt.

Starry Dawn is a log cabin variation that incorporates a star block in the middle, where the chimney fire would be in a traditional log cabin block.

It's my Island Batik Ambassador challenge quilt for March. For this challenge, Aurifil thread supplied each of the Ambassadors with a Color Builders thread collection. Each collection represents a different region of Italy.

I chose Sicily Yellow, partly because my family has roots in Sicily, and partly because I love these sunny bright yellows. The three threads in this collection are 2105, 2115, and 1135. They are all 50wt cotton.
