What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

This is one of my favorite months. The month that we are making a bag with Island Batik fabric and pattern and rest of supplies provided by Annie. We only had to choose from the 29 patterns that have Add-on video. I chose to make the Sidekick for my MIL who uses a walker.

It’ s again this time of the year. Summer at Kea (Tzia) and my boxes from Island Batik arriving there even before me. The weather is very windy but the sea is shiny and bright. And let us have a look at the content of my boxes.

Ήρθε και πάλι αυτή η εποχή του χρόνου. Καλοκαίρι στην Κέα (Τζιά) και τα κουτιά μου από τα Island Batik έφτασαν εδώ ακόμα και πριν από μένα. Εχει πολύ αέρα, αλλά η θάλασσα είναι λαμπερή και φωτεινή. Ας πάμε λοιπόν να δούμε τι περιείχαν αυτά τα κουτιά.

First challenge for 2025 for Island Batik Ambassadors Program. This month we had to use the Studio 180 Design tool we received in our Ambassador box in order to make a table runner or bed runner!   

Πρώτη πρόκληση για το Πρόγραμμα των Πρεσβευτών των Island Batik. Αυτόν τον μήνα έπρεπε να χρησιμοποιήσουμε το εργαλείο από το Studio 180 Design που πήραμε με το κουτί που μας έστειλαν, προκειμένου να κάνουμε ένα ράνερ είτε για τραπέζι είτε για κρεβάτι!

Οπως κάθε χρόνο, η εταιρία ByAnnie μας έστειλε ένα σχέδιο που είχαμε διαλέξει από τα σχέδιά της που έχουν συμπληρωματικό βιντεάκι. Μας έστειλε επίσης και ό,τι χρειαζόμαστε από πλευράς υλικών με τα αγαπημένα Island Batik να μας στέλνουν τα υφάσματα που είχαμε επίσης προεπιλέξει.

For this month’s blog hop we had to make a quilt in raw edge and glue basted technique with no fusible used. The size should be lap or larger. You may see the technique proposed here.

As you already know, this is my 7th year as an Island Batik Ambassador. Yeahhhh!!!! My second box sent by Island Batik arrived (in fact there are two boxes) and I recorded the unboxing. This time we were at our summerhouse and the boxes arrived there. My husband brought them to me. You see how happy he also is!

The most fun challenge of the whole semester. We had chosed a pattern from Funky Friends Factory patterns and the only thing we had to do, was to have fun making the pattern. I chose this cute witch. I immediately decided on making two of them.

Η πιο διασκεδαστική πρόκληση όλου του εξαμμήνου. Είχαμε να διαλέξουμε ένα πατρόν από την εταιρία Funky Friends Factory και το μόνο πράγμα που είχαμε να κάνουμε ήταν να διασκεδάσουμε φτιάχνοντάς το. Εγώ λοιπόν που τους επόμενους μήνες θα κινηθώ σε ρυθμό Χαλοουίν, σκέφτηκα να κάνω αυτη τη χαριτωμένη μαγισσούλα. Και αμέσως αποφάσισα να κάνω ...
