I May Have A Scrap Problem... And I Bet You Do Too! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

It has been a busy busy week here, and only promises to get busier!  I'm working on three memory quilts, and the customer has also commissioned two t-shirt quilts after that; another customer wants one t-shirt quilt by late February; and I just got another commission for two t-shirt quilts by April and June.  Whew!  All that on top of doing the administrative work for this year's Hands2Help Challenge and prepping for this year's tutorial series, String Therapy.

All that to say, this week I am tapped out as far as scrappy sewing.  Of course ...

Hi, all!

Last week flew by, didn't it? But I got lots and lots done and I'm finally starting to feel like things are beginning to get back to normal, just a little bit.  Are you starting to feel that way too, or are things still out of whack for you?

Strange things happened last week - like my missing batting (ordered on May 9th!) finally turning up!

I won't bore you with the whole story, but suffice it to say I won't be ordering again from Joann.com any time soon!  I'm mainly just glad ...

Quilting for Hands 2 Help from From My Carolina Home

Hands2Help is an annual charity quilt drive hosted by Sarah at Confessions of a Fabric Addict.  I’ve been a participant for several years, making quilts in various sizes as needed.  Two years ago, my own charity drive for the Carolina Hurricane Quilt Project was a recipient of quilts from Sarah’s event.  This year, it came up while I was working on other projects, but with the lockdown I could sneak in a quick quilt using one of those darling ABC panels I love so much.  I pulled one out, loaded it on the longarm and got to work ...

Hi, all!

May is finally here!  Did you think (like me) that April was going to last f-o-r-e-v-e-r?  But it was certainly a productive (if long) month, and I know many of you have been working on your H2H quilts diligently.  But now it's time to sit back and enjoy the story of another of your fellow quilters!  I'm pleased to welcome Lorraine, who has been a part of Hands2Help for several years now.  She's not a blogger, but she generously agreed to do a guest post for us because she has an important message to share ...
