Double Chocolate Smoothie Bowl aka Chocolate Craving Buster Bowl from Pieced Pastimes

I call this my 'Chocolate Craving Buster Bowl' for good reason. As many others, I have a thing for chocolate and I try to find a healthy balance to include this in my diet. This smoothie bowl more than satisfies any chocolate cravings and the best part is that once I've had a bowl, I don't want or need anything chocolate for quite some time afterwards. "Life is short. Fall Table Topper and Recipe from Pieced Brain


I finished this table topper about SEVEN years ago and totally forgot about it! It is now quilted (thanks to Melissa at Sew Shabby Quilting), bound, and living on my dining room table. I love its colors and, best of all, the applique'!

The flowers on the main fabric are colorful and fun so I copied them and turned them into the applique' motifs. Look closely: I machine applique' everything with the blanket stitch using matching thread colors (Aurifil 40 wt).
