Puzzling from Becca's Crazy Projects

Last week I finished this great puzzle called Trippy Picnic from Blue Kazoo. I bought this puzzle through Kickstarter a while back and just hadn't done it. It is an excellent puzzle. I really enjoyed the art and the quality of the pieces. Sadly, this puzzle is slightly oversized for my puzzle storage. For this one I used my Jigsaw Puzzle Roll Mat Puzzle Storage Saver to assemble the puzzle on my dining room table.

Puzzling from Becca's Crazy Projects

A friend invited me over for some speed puzzling. This is my finished 300 piece puzzle. I wasn't that speedy (finishing at around 1 hour and 23 minutes). It was a fun exercise and I will attend if invited back. Check out lighthouse puzzles available from Amazon (affiliate link).
I saw this puzzle available from my local gaming shop and thought it might be fun. Turns out, a sea of blue takes quite a bit of time to piece.
This right here is what you call a challenging pair of pieces. Cut nearly identically. Meaning I had a false ...

Crumbs, TATW, Bargello, Puzzle Done from Elaine Adair Pieces

Pretty amazing what can be done with scraps and crumbs.  Triangles were sewn in the back corners and I inserted a paintstick for a hanging dowel.  I think the recipient liked it.  I LOVE the crookedyness.

Having fun with Bargello/Trip Around the World, I didn't  understand how a TATW would actually be organized, but in the meantime, during my learning time, these were was a LOT of fun.  I made 4 of each style, and kept the "order" the same for each block - that is 2 strips of darks, one light, one contrast and 2 lights.   Right now ...

Still kickin' at the New Year from Elaine Adair Pieces

I'm still here, working and sewing much of the time.  Hey, this home maintenance being completed by just ONE person takes a lot of time!  My spirits remain sorta OK, and I get lonesome, pretty much like everyone else.  A terrible anniversary is looming -  sad and scary but I will face it.  Time flew by so quickly, it is shocking.  I barely learn what day it is, and it's the next!

During my blog lull, I have finished the quilting on this QOV, shown as a top previously.

Love that striped binding!  Here's the back, much of ...

Puzzling from From the Strawberry Patch...

Our first completed puzzle on the dedicated table. It's fun to have something that we can spend a few moments pondering over together after dinner, finding a sought after piece and placing it into position. I'm always worried that we'll lose a piece and not be able to complete the picture; this time we had the opposite to occur!  We finished the puzzle with a piece left over!
