Machine Knitting from Becca's Crazy Projects

I managed to finish the back of my sweater. It seemed to take forever and I did learn a few things along the way.

I pinned it to my dress so I could see how it might look. The next step is the front of the sweater. So much more neck shaping for a sweater front. Wish me luck.

Quilts for Kids: October from Becca's Crazy Projects

Saturday I dropped off 18 quilts for binding, some batting scraps for bags, and 5 pieced tops.

I also picked up 18 quilts for quilting and stack of new fabrics to keep working on piecing. That should keep me busy until November's meeting.

Machine Knitting from Becca's Crazy Projects

I've been thinking about knitting something with the LK150. I grabbed my copy of The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns: Basic Designs in Multiple Sizes and Gauges took some measurements and cast on. I used a simple e-wrap cast on and then hand manipulated the bottom 20 rows to make 2-by-2 ribbing. That took so much longer than knitting those 20 rows. I think it was worth it and definitely faster than knitting all that ribbing by hand.
