What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

Good morning, my friends. For as many times as we've visited Hoover Dam and the Memorial Bridge, it still leaves us awestruck every dam time. I'm going to post pictures from yesterday's visit, but I would also encourage you to visit two posts from previous visits. Since I'd taken pictures of some of the things we saw on yesterday's visit and posted them previously, I skipped over those things during yesterday's visit. (I have a bad habit of taking way too many pictures.)

Good morning, my friends. I have a lot to tell you today, and lots of pictures to show. You might want to top-off whatever your drinking and get settled in a comfy chair. Before you do that, though, be sure to lace up your hiking boots. We're gonna go for a short, but challenging hike.

Good morning, my friends. It was another do-nothing day. That's not entirely true. We had to go to the grocery store, and our list was relatively long. When we got back to the RV and had everything put away, we decided we were no longer interested in doing anything else, and so we spent the rest of the day relaxing. I did three loads of laundry, so that's something. And, of course, I spent some time on my slow-stitching, filling my hoop again.

And let me just tell you, we made good on our goal to do nothing for the entire day. It's good to attain one's goals, wouldn't you agree?

Good morning, my friends. Our time here in Escondido is nearly at an end. We'll be here today and tomorrow, but then we'll move along to Boulder City, Nevada. We're still enjoying our time here, and we have yet to see everything on our list of things to do. Anything we don't do this trip will go on the list for next year.

Good morning, my friends. The clouds cleared off into a beautiful and warm day yesterday. It was a good day for an outing to the San Diego Botanic Garden. We've visited the garden before, but you'll see different things at different times of the year. Before we left, I made the correction to Block 12 from the Raggedy project. I like this better:

Good morning, my friends. The day got off to an exciting start yesterday. Finally, finally, finally, we got some action at our seed feeder when several house finches showed up to our table.

So, we left them with birds entertaining them, and headed out for our planned excursion to Temecula.

Good morning, my friends. The day got off to an exciting start yesterday. Finally, finally, finally, we got some action at our seed feeder when several house finches showed up to our table.

Good morning, my friends. The weather took a little turn yesterday. It was cloudy much of the day, but there was no rain. Definitely the temperature dropped a couple of degrees. Nevertheless, we had a very nice afternoon with our friends, Debi and Jim. Debi is looking a little perkier than she was the last time we saw her. We're very hopeful her recovery will continue on the path toward wellness.
