Good morning, my friends. It was a short day for sewing yesterday. My morning started with a doctor's appointment. I’ll say more about that in a minute. After my appointment, I stopped off at our local Safeway store and picked up the things currently on our list. We get our vaccines at Safeway, and they always give us a 15% off coupon for our next shopping trip. Good morning, my friends. It ended up being kind of a slow day here. The weather never really cleared up, and so I was deterred from going for a walk. Instead, I decided to stay at home and work with the macro function of my new camera. First, I picked the day's blueberry harvest, and then I just walked around taking close-up shots of things. I have a lot of pictures to show you today.

Instead, I decided to stay at home and work with the macro function of my new camera. First, I picked the day's blueberry harvest, and then I just walked around taking close-up shots of things. Good morning, my friends. As usual, it was a full day yesterday. The bird feeders were empty and there were flowers to water. There were a few more blueberries to pick, but first, I took a walk around to see how things were growing.

The lavender is just about bloomed out, but it is still crawling with bumblebees.

Good morning, my friends. It was a busy day yesterday, but it doesn't feel as if I have much to show for it. We mopped the floor in the morning, and I mopped myself out the door so that I could hoe the garden. While I was out, I was thrilled to find enough ripe blueberries that it made sense to pick some. Up until now, they've been ripening one at a time. Now, they are ripening in clusters, giving me hope I can actually do something with them. Just look at these babies:

Good morning, my friends. It was a busy day yesterday, but it doesn't feel as if I have much to show for it. The only sewing I did yesterday was slow sewing. I finished the upper right corner section, and now I’ve moved my hoop down to capture the “LOVE” section.

Good morning, my friends. There as a change of plans yesterday. Shortly after my morning blog posted, Matthew called to say he'd barely slept the night before. And I'm sympathetic to that. We decided to do our walk on Monday. No worries. I could switch gears. Only...I seemed to be stuck in neutral because I made almost no forward progress during the day. 

There was a little progress to show on the Love Sampler. After stitching these two sections, I moved my hoop to the right. I'll pick it up there this morning, and then continue ...

Good morning, my friends. The past several days have been luxuriously slow. Somehow I ended up without a single to-do on my calendar unless I put it there voluntarily. I've added a few things, but mainly, things I've wanted to do anyway. Today will be such a day. Tomorrow will be a little busier. Still, with several days of leisure, I feel ready to pick up the pace again.

I've added a few things, but mainly, things I've wanted to do anyway. Today will be such a day. Tomorrow will be a little busier. Still, with several days of leisure, I feel ready to pick up the pace again.

Good morning, my friends. Mike and I were up and at 'em this morning. It was warm yesterday. We ran our A/C for the first time this year. We turned it off last night, and it was cool enough, but neither of us slept very well. I don't know about you, but I like cocooning under the weight of the covers. If I can't have the covers over me, I don't sleep as well. In any case, we enjoyed this morning's pretty sunrise.
