Scrappy Journal on Free Motion Mavericks from Quilting & Learning

Hi and welcome. ⛄ Are you under siege with snow? I'm sure that it won't stay, but it's here. At least it will be Spring again eventually!  I have a spring-like project to share.

Scrappy Journal Challenge


A few weeks ago I participated in another Vintage Page Designs Challenge. We made a Scrappy Journal. It took me longer than a week to make but I love how it turned out. I've cut up paper to create more of these in different sizes. Hopefully I'll play with them soonish.

Stitching and watercolour on Free Motion Mavericks from Quilting & Learning

I don't seem to be ready to get back to my machine, either to sew or to do some free motion quilting (FMQ). I guess I just need to some quiet time. My thread and needles are never far away (although I keep having to look for my scissors!). The weather had been cooler so it's been nice to stitch outside.

Painting Progress from The Quilt Rat

I have to admit that I have been terribly lazy at documenting much of my creative endeavors lately and have ignored this spot quite badly but I am not all that sure that people are really bothering much with blogs these days. 

I do sort of feel like I should update it now and then though, so today, I will just share the last few watercolour painting lessons I have completed.
