Hearts and Flowers from The Snarky Quilter

Thank goodness dreary February is brightened up by Valentine’s Day. This year I decided to go traditional with hearts and flowers to celebrate, though I won’t turn down a nice bottle of wine or some dark chocolate.

The background is painted pattern tissue, and the hearts are old sheet music that I painted and stamped. The papers were heavy ...

Sweet Treats from From the Strawberry Patch...

I stitched together those leftover trimmings from using CG's Folded Corner Clipper. They were simply too cute to toss. This 36-patch will measure 7.5" square, finished. I'll combine a few of these to make doll quilts for our granddaughters. Isn't it sweet? Speaking of sweet treats, I tried this coffee cake last week. I couldn't find a glass pan (as the recipe calls for) that measures 10" X 15", I

They are not difficult to make and I can say with a lot of confidence, that all of the quilters reading this article have all of the supplies needed.

These ornaments are not just for Valentine’s Day either.  They would be lovely on a Christmas tree of as part of the decoration of a gift ...
