I stitched together those leftover trimmings from using CG's Folded Corner Clipper. They were simply too cute to toss. This 36-patch will measure 7.5" square, finished. I'll combine a few of these to make doll quilts for our granddaughters. Isn't it sweet? Speaking of sweet treats, I tried this coffee cake last week. I couldn't find a glass pan (as the recipe calls for) that measures 10" X 15", I

Appliqué at the National Quilt Museum: Part 2
from Telling Stories Through the Needle's Eye
This week, we finish our appliqué tour at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah. Both of the remaining exhibits featured tiny quilts. A full-sized appliquéd album quilt is impressive, and then there are the album quilts that are the size of a typical block. Mind-blowing work. I (Teri) was in awe and inspired to attempt some small stitching.

weaker strain.
Very Frustrating to say the least.
Yesterday I felt I turned a corner
just in time to finish one deadline.
Now to start on my submissions
for Houston Festival so I
can see this lovely city
again in the Fall.
