Sunday Chat – Quilting, Food, and Fall Color from From My Carolina Home

Glorious color adorns our driveway with the fall season reaching its peak. The reds and golds are brilliant even in this early dawn view. Fog settles into the valley sometimes, and I love that. This photo was taken two weeks ago, as the colors hit their peaks.

When the sun came up over the east mountain, the driveway was awash in autumn color. But we are in a drought, and this scene didn’t last long as the leaves fell quickly. Some of the trees in our view still have beautiful color.

Boy did my post on Thursday touch a nerve for a lot of us. With over 50 comments in just a few hours, it is clear that most of you love blogs still. Pardon me, has anyone seen my marbles? from From My Carolina Home

I was sure I still had them, but apparently I had lost them. They were certainly missing when I got a phone call from a dear friend in a bind. The person in charge of publicity for our guild’s Garden of Quilts show called my friend and quit a few minutes before my friend called me. That day was also the day before the committee meeting.
