This week, and another finished quilt! from A Prim and (not so) Proper Quilter

What we’re doing during our sometimes-annual Snowmaggedon week.

Snowmaggedon is being re-nicknamed to Snowzilla. Or Sleetzilla. The snow came and came and finally stopped Sunday, and sleet was off and on all day Saturday and I think that night. But we’re still warm and toasty inside, and if we wanted to go anywhere, we couldn’t. I’m ok with it. The windchill has us in the negative digits this weekend and Monday; no thawing will happen until Tuesday afternoon at the earliest, but it will take awhile for this stuff to go away.

I’m still here! from A Prim and (not so) Proper Quilter

I've been busy, and it’s a good thing.

I am forever prattling about my never-ending quest for knowledge and techniques for the crafts I love, mostly textile related. For a long time I have wanted to get back to sewing clothes for myself, and it finally happened in July.

Using a serger to benefit your quilt making from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

Thanks for your comments about the Facebook Live. OH GOSH -- I wondered if anyone could hear Murphy barking! No one else was home, and I could do nothing - the show must go on! Next time, I'll find a hidey hole for her with NO WINDOWS. I imagine she was barking at the squirrels in the backyard. What a silly girl!!! Thankfully, she didn't go into her full-blown ballistic mode!

For those who missed the session, you can watch it at this link. Knowing when the link went live was challenging, and I was trying to watch the laptop ...

What goes up................ from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

I'm home! I thought I might have to sleep at the airport last night, but I managed to get home. It was very late, and I'll nap later today. Wait for that story!

The day started with the daily geocache; although I knew there was an Adventure Lab at the airport, what if I forget? Someone has posted a geocache at many of the hotels in the area, and they are quick and easy to find.

My geocache of the day

So all was good in that area, and I had to take the car to get breakfast ...
