Happy Fall - Back to Blogging from Loose Threads

Hello Everyone Where have I been? After my last post I went to physical therapy for my hip and after a while I began to have a problem with my knee. I think maybe one might have been the result of the other. At the end of July I had my right knee replaced. (That's my driving leg!) Thanks for your comments about the Facebook Live. OH GOSH -- I wondered if anyone could hear Murphy barking! No one else was home, and I could do nothing - the show must go on! Next time, I'll find a hidey hole for her with NO WINDOWS. I imagine she was barking at the squirrels in the backyard. What a silly girl!!! Thankfully, she didn't go into her full-blown ballistic mode!

Bayquilt für Freunde from Quiltmanufaktur

Ich freue mich immer, wenn ich einen Auftrag für einen Quilt bekomme! In diesem Fall besonders, weil er von lieben Freunden kommt, die ihr erstes Enkelkind erwarten. Und sie haben mir freie Hand gelassen, was das Design betrifft.

Für diesen Quilt habe ich mir zunächst 10 verschiedene Kona Cottons ausgewählt. Das Muster mit den Sternen hatte ich schon im Kopf.

Die Blöcke sind je 8" Inch im Quadrat und der Zuschnitt pro Block lautet wie folgt:
