What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

 This morning Patrick head to golfing, and I headed to moms. I wanted to be early because we had a war game on at the time I usually leave for her place. I stopped and got her some tea. 

Got to moms and she had a few things she wanted me to do for her. I tried to play my game. Then I had to play again later. Too funny. 

I worked on the block I have been working on while there. I have decided I am going to do back basting next time. Even if I have to cut ...

This morning, I was up earlier than I had originally planned. I slept downstairs to stay cool. Sophie wasn't happy with me last night because Patrick slept upstairs. She meowed to let me know I needed to go upstairs. It was funny watching her talking to me as she walked back and forth to the stairs. 

I also realized last night that I needed to get the batting and backing ready for Colleen today. So, I cut it at 10:30 last night.

 It was quilting Friday today. I headed over to moms at 8:30 am to get there in time to play my war game. It was an hour long, and mom was trying to get me to do a lot of stuff for her. I told her I was busy. She wasn't happy with me. There were 5 of us today. 

I worked on the block I have been working on there. 

This morning, I was up at 6:30 am because of all the sun coming through the windows. I couldn't go back to sleep even if I tried. 

So, I played on my game and then got ready to go to moms. I stopped at Safeway to pick up a couple things. Once that was done, I arrived at moms with a few people behind me. There were 7 of us today. 

I pulled out the pattern that I needed for the first block. 

This morning, I was up early. I needed to work on the QOV information on each veteran that we need to honor. I wanted to do what I could for Carol. 

Then it was time to head out to moms. I stopped and got some Chai tea while I was on the way. Thought about washing the car at the car wash, but decided I would do it on the way back. 

There were 7 of us. It was pretty good. I worked on the blue and white block of the month that mom has. I pulled out moms' patterns ...

Today I was up with Patrick. He headed to golfing and I wanted on Gerilyn to pick me up. We had our embroidery meeting today. 

We arrived on time with Sandy and Cindy there. Sandy 2 from Ocean Shores came today as well. It was so good to see everyone! We sat and chatted. Then mom called and asked if she could visit, told her I was at the grange and she could come over. She did. 

I worked on my goldwork. I'm so close to finishing this now! 

This morning I needed to get a few things ready for mom. I had a list of stuff that needed to be done. First I had to go get gas. I went over to Love's because I had the "Up" app that saves me money. I got over there and it was busy. I finally got to the gas tank and as I was filling my tank, something went weird and the station stopped pumping gas. It only put 7 gallons in the car and wouldn't continue. So, I tried again on the same station. Nope, nothing would ...

 This morning I was running a little slow. I didn't want to get up but I did. Then I had to get moving to moms. Stopped at Phil's to give him more veggies. Then I went to Dutch Brothers for Chai tea for both mom and me. 

When I arrived we worked on getting the table set up for the quilt. Then we cleaned the floor so that there wasn't any dirt. The last thing we needed to do was clean the quilt and have it get dirty again by the floor. We worked on a couple ...

 This morning I was running a little late. I was out the door and stopped at Dutch Brothers for Chai tea. Got one for mom and myself. 

I love the cup lids! They are so fun to get! The other one I got said something else. 

When I arrived at mom's, we headed to the Gathering Place. There we put her quilt out on the 4 tables. 

I let Bob know we were there. He came to see it. We had to put 4 tables together to be able to square it up. At first mom wanted to pin ...

 This morning Derek and Kylee headed out to meet the rest of the family in Woodinville. They left around about 8:15 am. It was nice to see them. 

After they left I was able to start my day. I exercised and then waited to see if Ron was outside. When he didn't show up around 10:30 am, I headed out to walk. I did 2 loops till he came out to join me. We then did 7 loops. 

By the time I got back in the house it was almost one o'clock. I had started laundry ...

 This morning we were up. I wanted to go back to sleep but couldn't. So I DRAGGED myself out of bed. lol 

I was playing on the tablet and waiting to do my exercises. Patrick came in the house to let me know Ron was waiting for me to come and walk. I walked out there, and we got the full 7 laps in. I told him I would see him on Saturday since I have to be at the Lewis County Rotary meeting at 7 am. Then I have to be at the fair by 10 am. Connie ...

 This morning I was up and out the door to moms. She asked me to show up to help with potting a couple plants. I thought she meant the ones outside. We took about 10 mins to do the repotting. So I stayed and chatted with her till about 11 am. Then I dropped the fabric off at Joann's. She's making more pillow cases for us. 

Came home around 11:30 am. Then I waited about 40 mins for Bob to call. I wanted to send him some photos of his quilt mom is making for him. 

Today I was on my way to moms. I had 4 stops before I got there. One was to see Sandy, so I stopped at McD's and got her a coffee. Then I dropped off some books and clips for her. She's getting ready to head to her sisters in Canada. She's also a Canadian. So friendly! 

Got to moms and she wasn't ready. We had breakfast before we started. We had to put the quilt in a quarter so we could cut quilt to size. We cut it at 120 square. She's going to ...

This morning I was out the door by 9 am. Stopped at Subway and picked up a sandwich for mom and I to have for lunch. I also brought a  salad. Mom was still working on her breakfast when I arrived. She doesn't really get much for breakfast lately and sometimes she eating her breakfast at noon.  She was all set up when I arrived. We worked on getting the quilt laid right on the 3 tables. This is HUGH!

Today was Patrick's day to golf. So I decided to spend the day with mom and get the quilt basting going again. Plus I had my PT at 2 pm. 

Heading over to moms, I had a couple texts. One from Phil asking if I wanted some carrot cake - Heck Yea! One from Debbie asking for the list for tomorrow. Then out the door I went. Stopped at Safeway to get some lunch - since mom only has soft food for the next day. I got a seafood salad. Then to Rite Aid for a couple things. Stopped at Phil ...

 This morning both of us were up early. Patrick wasn't going anywhere, but I was. It was time to head out to moms. She had asked me to come over today on Tuesday. I told her I would let her know. I couldn't find another day that would work for me. Ended up going. Even though I needed the day to work on my beading. 

I did a few things before heading over there. I got there around 11 am. Mom had a couple things she wanted to do first. I gave her 3 more quilts to work ...

 Ended up sleeping till 10:30 am. Mom was up and down all night. If you heard her she'd tell you she slept really well all night. I am still on the couch. One more day and my brother should be here. 

Mom slept in the afternoon and I watched an English show. 2 seasons worth. Around 3:30 I went home. Stopping at Safeway first. Got chicken for Patrick and I.  Picked up my clothes for tonight and tomorrow.  

Came back and worked on my beading. 

This one is done. I did mess up on the top part ...

 This morning I had to be out the door before 8 am. I wasn't too tired - actually was up and ready to go. I played one of my games first and then out the door I went. 

Picked mom up around 8 am. She wasn't ready. She was still working on breakfast and feeding the dog. We then left about 10 mins later to head up to Olympia. I will say people driving today don't care about others on the road. I was having trouble getting over a couple times. I was also have trouble with people ...

 This morning I was up and out the door to the church. I picked up the quilt that I dropped off last month. Still waiting on the quilt I dropped off about 3 months ago. She did say we have another one. It looked a lot better this time. At least it wasn't a training quilt. 

I stopped and picked up coffee, and 2 teas. Got to moms by 10 am. Ended up with her working in the sewing room. I wanted to get her started on her cleaning but she got side tracked. - That always happens. When she ...

 Sorry. Saturday I had nothing to show. Sunday (yesterday) was cleaning the house. We were getting ready to have a clean house to come home to. Can you believe I actually put my stuff away?! No worries,  I will pull them out when I get back. 

Bowling was last night. What an awful night of bowling! We did get 2 games. My awful games were 138, 158, and 135. So much for a high average. I beat Patrick on the first one, then he kicked my butt.
