I don’t know about you, but I am truly enjoying these days anticipating a change in weather and soaking in all these fun and delicious recipes! Home in my Heart: Italian Sausage & Chicken Soup from Jacquelynne Steves

Welcome to the Month of heart-warming recipes + heart-warming project! You’re going to love today’s recipe – with the weather cooling down, it’s the perfect time for fall comfort foods. So…what says “comfort” more than a big pot of homemade soup?? We had the soup for dinner the first night, and then had it for many lunches the following week. Welcome, Spring! from From the Strawberry Patch...

Two weeks ago it was homemade split pea with

Finishing Up from From the Strawberry Patch...

Remember that ongoing porch project? This is how things looked a little over a week ago when I left for Hampton, VA and MidAtlantic Quilt Fest. The scaffolding was still in place and the units were all framed out to receive the screen panels. We had four glass sections installed in the gable end before I left. Even though the space will be screened in, the screen panels have pull-down vinyl
