I was so exciting with the contents of my second box! Many new things to try! Among them a ruler. From Studio 180 Design! I had never used a ruler designed by Deb Tucker. She designs and shells rulers that make easier many things when we make patchwork. Each ruler comes with detailed instructions and almost all of them have explanatory videos and many patterns. “A great challenge from an old favorite! There are so many ways to do a log cabin block. What will you pick? Choose your blocks from curved, triangle, wonky, star, twisted, classic. You can create variations by adding appliqué. Then choose your layout, there are way too many options to mention! Use any technique, paper pieced or traditional”. Two years ago started everything. I could not believe in the email I received then. I felt the same happiness this year too, that the number of the group got smaller but I remained in it. I adore Island batik fabrics! I adore the monthly challenges. Ok, to tell you the truth, some times deadlines torture me. Some other times I do not like the challenge. However, I keep going and learning and becoming better. I am learning by the challenges, by my fellow-Ambassadors, by the whole process. And here I am, Ambassador for the 3rd time for my favorite ...
