What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

It's a three "thing" day. Woke to get ready for the dentist. I HATE going to the dentist. But at least I do like this dentist. I'm still glad I switched to this guy. I had 3 teeth that need to be "padded" because of the missing area. It shouldn't need a shot (thank goodness!). So, I'm doing that on Thursday. Patrick waited out in the car while I was in there. He's still not feeling that great.

This morning, I worked on some of my QOV paperwork again. Added more information to my long list I already have done. 

Then we left at 10 am to go to the museum to drop off the paperwork for membership. Then we went to Walmart for some potting soil that I've been asking for all summer. Once that was done, we headed to the casino.

 This morning, we planned to go to the casino. I got a few things done before heading out. 

We dropped off 2 kits and picked up 2 tops from Martha on the way. Then we played for a good 4 hours. We had fun. Won and lost, but we didn't lose a lot. We are still playing off the money we got 4 months ago. They aren't giving out big wins anymore and they aren't giving out as much money as they did before. Next month I will only get about $45 when I was getting $75 ...

 Sometimes (more often now) I wish we had air conditioning. We don't. Really can't put one in because this was built in 1977 and has heater boards. So, there isn't a vent that we could use to have air conditioning. It sucks! But at least downstairs is cooler.

 Today we were up and headed out. Picked up and dropped off a quilt at the church. Then meet with Martha in Rochester to pick up a top and give her 2 more kits. 

Then we went to the Lucky Eagle Casino. We played for less than 2 hours. We lost a lot of money but are still ahead of what we won a few months back. We got a blanket for the gifts. I wanted the chairs. That may be last. But right now, we decided we are taking a break. The casino was so tight! We didn't ...

This morning, I started laundry.  Then Patrick got home from golfing. After about an hour, we headed to Olympia - yet again! - for my mammogram. We ended up 45 minutes early because we were expecting construction on I-5 which wasn't there. So, we waited till my appointment time. It didn't take long. I will say, getting your boobs squished isn't fun! 

Then we headed to Lucky Eagle. We played for about 4 hours. It wasn't really our day, but then it usually isn't and we were lucky in April and May. Now we are back to ...

This morning, I was up and wanting to play my games for a bit. Instead, I went for a walk and made it around the neighborhood 5 times. Patrick wanted to go to the casino early, so we left about 10:15 am. I had a message to Martha to meet us at IGA. Then Colleen said that Jan would be there to. 

We arrived at about 10:55 am, and both of them just arrived as well. Jan took 2 of the kits for quilts, while Martha took 2 as well. Then we headed to the casino to play ...

 This morning, I didn't want to get up. So, I slept till about 9 am. 

When I did get up, I played my games for a while. Then around noon we headed to the casino. 

Our dinner was at 5 pm as we made reservations for the Steak House. Patrick brought money to play with while we waited till 5 pm to come. We were running low on what we took after about 2 hours. Then Patrick won the Mega bonus which was $1,1--. That was a shock but nice to have. We played on that money for ...

 Today, Patrick slept later than I did. lol 

We were out the door before 10 am. I had to make a deposit at the credit union and then drop off the electric bill for the water system. Plus, we had clothes that needed to be dropped off at the boxes in Rochester. We had a couple bags worth. So, we dropped them off before making it to the casino.

This morning, Colleen stopped by to drop off two quilts and collect backing and batting for a total of three quilts. I had to replace the one color for the back, because I cut it wrong. The other was for a quilt her sister did for us. The third one was the quilt top with batting and backing that mom and Georgie made. 

After she left, Patrick came home from golfing. Then we went up to Olympia for my breathing tests. I have been stable for the past two years, so that's a good sign. He still wants to ...

This morning, we left around 10 am. I needed to pick up a quilt from the church and then we went to the casino, like we do every Wednesday. 

We arrived around 10:30 am and left around 5:00 pm. We spent most of the day there. Partly because we wanted to get a pizza and they don't open till 4 pm. As usual, we played our favorite games and a couple we haven't played in a long time. One of them we figured doesn't pay as good as the others, so we didn't stay ...

 This morning, I could only get 6 laps in on my walking. My watch said I did 1.99 miles. lol I should have walked a few more steps for 2 miles. lol 

At 1:30 pm we had our war game with all the kingdom players. Or at least 1200 players. We are trying to see who's the best - and it's not me. lol I ended up playing against Sux who is in my alliance. It's funny really. I didn't realize it till I saw her big castle. My team beat hers though. We came ...

This morning, I needed to get up to Olympia for my doctor appointment. I had to get my "female test" done today. I have been positive over the last 3 years with HPV virus. The last one was fine. I had to do another test today to see if it shows up again and if it does, then I have to do a biopsy. I learned a lot more today about the HPV tests. It's the test they do to see if cancer is coming. It is normally dormant. It was described like chick pots. It's something you ...

 We were up early because I had to go to Olympia to get an X-ray of my chest. We also had to stop and get Patrick's blood drawn. So, we were out the door by 8:45 am to get gas and head up to Olympia. 

We then went to the casino and were there by 11:45 am. We played our favorite games. It was interesting because we won 2 MAJOR bonus - over $900. Then we also won big prizes in the bonus rounds. We came home with a lot more than we went with. At first, we ...

This morning, we headed out to the casino. We have Wednesdays this month for the casino - except for next week. We have sew days here. 

We played at the casino a good 4-5 hours. We didn't lose much at all.  We played on their money. I think the little we lost was from the money we won a few weeks ago. So, we are still ahead. Patrick got a bonus of $1,163 that was under the line of having to get an IRS form done. lol

 This morning, I was up and working on my class piece. I also got a few things done for QOV. I got the certificate that needed to be mailed ready to go. 

We went to the Post Office first, then to Walmart! UGH Wally World! I was lucky and got to the pharmacy right away. Normally there is a long line. Met Patrick at the entrance since he went to get the windshield wipers for the car. It's pretty good that we lasted a good 7 years with the ones we have. Now watch, we will have to replace ...

Today, I had a ton of stuff that needed to be done. Patrick went golfing. So, I got up and headed to the Department of Licensing for a new Driver's License. I got there with 2 people already at the desk. I used the computer to sign in. As soon as I was done with that (it said it would be about 10 minutes), the gal called me over. I looked around and said, "me?" She said, "You're the only one here." Too funny, was thinking, "Here's your sign!" I got up there, gave her all my ...

This morning, we did the usual cleaning before heading to the casino. I had to run the Roomba down the hall. I was going to run it just before we got home but forgot. May run it in the morning.

This morning, we cleaned and headed to the casino. Mainly to get our gifts. Patrick had to add money on his card to get the gift. But we did. I almost said "another Saturday" just because it feels like it. 

We started the day out by going to the casino. We played for a while and waited till 2 pm to get our gifts. Patrick had to play on his card and get more points in order to get the gift. It's a Bissell Steam cleaner. Not sure if it's a good one or not. But we ended up with 2 of them. The pot/pan is Sunday. So, yes, we are heading back over there on Sunday.
