snoopy finish from Making A Lather

I have  a finish....finally. Based on cynthia Brunz's wiggle time pattern. I have made it before in rainbow colors. I really like it. Anytime I have a fun children's print, I can cut this pattern, and, have pieces ready for a donation quilt or a quick ( relatively) gift. It's nice to have green for a backdrop again.

almost finishes from Making A Lather

With my mojo gone, I have just been tinkering with this and that. I have some almost finishes.

asterix s for the full stop quilt that Angela is doing. I still need to sash and join.

A rug hooking flower mat. I have the flower finished and I am working on the background.

I started making a journal from scraps of cardboard. Now, I need to cover it with something pretty. I think I need to add some gratitudey things as well.

I have snoopy wiggle time quilted, I just need to bind it.

checkerboard from Making A Lather

I woke up one morning and my mojo was gone. I am sure it will come back, I just need to coast a little and, see what happens. Meanwhile, I am slowly working on a few clean up projects. I have a few more blocks for quilted twins free pattern called swingin checkerboard.

And, I have the quilting done on baby snoopy. This was a project from a retreat in January, I think.

retreat and one monthly goal from Making A Lather

Our guild had another open sew Saturday. I took what I had done on bonnie Hunter quilt zuckerwatte from her book string fling, and, decided to see how far I could get. With just 20 minutes to spare, I had the center top finished. It was a great boost. I had started at the beginning of January with only string blocks made. I cut a gazillion  HSTS - ( half square triangles ) ... sewn a bunch together, and made  rows. and blocks.

Now that we have a new month, it is time to refocus on another set of goals. My one monthly goal ...

retreat progress from Making A Lather

I went to a two day "sleep in your own bed" retreat this weekend. It has been awhile that I have had a chance to just keep after a chosen project. I had this snoopy quilt that just needed a few blocks and assembly. I think this will be a great quilt for a new Grandson coming in May. I need to find a back and give it a good press.

I have been chasing this quilt for a year now. Country roads was part of rainbow scrap challenge at so scrappy. And, now, the center is ...

progress from Making A Lather

I am sewing here and there on my current scrap projects, hoping to make some more progress before the end of the year. Can you believe we are nearly there? What a year.

stash buster and easy breezy

Friday group met, and, I finished all the blocks for country roads. It's time to decide if I want to put it in the ufo closet, or, dream up a layout, and, keep going. Today, I have a sew day, too. I plan on working on my snoopy wiggle quilt and grassy creek mystery quilt clue number 2.

to do: cut more baby wiggle from Making A Lather

I had a sew day last Thursday, and, I decided to work on a baby quilt I have had cut for a couple of years. I love cynthia Brunz's wiggle time pattern and wanted to try something with these fabrics. I discovered that I had cut 2 strips wrong, and, that meant, I didn't have enough fabric to finish it. I think it will be ok if I mix background fabrics.

Even though, it is not Thanksgiving yet. I baked bread, and loved the smell of that in the house. It just seems like  the holidays. We bought ...
