This month deserves EVERY
bit of bold, larger, underlined
text available to me!!
 We started the month by going
to Virginia to help my mom
with some things around
the house and to spend
Mother's Day with her.

We did tons of yard work
and I got covered in ticks-YUCK!!!!
Once home, one of the bites
wasn't reacting right so I was
tested / treated for Lyme disease.
My test came back negative but
to this day (2 months later) that
one bite isn't right.
Be careful out there!

Unfortunately, this would 
be the last trip ...

more utility (love) stitching . . . from Count it *all* JOY!

Yes, I do have to qualify that utility stitching for my grands is definitely *love* stitching!  Ellie's 8-year-old "blankie" needed some attention.  Seriously, I should have taken a before pic! I reconstructed it for her, making it a quilt, of sorts . . .
  
Hopefully it will get her through (to adulthood)!  :)  It made her so very happy to get it back, my heart was happy too.  

I am struggling with allergies again. I'm sniffling and sneezing and coughing ... the very thing people do NOT want to be around right now! So I'm self-quarantining. Add the fact that I'm ...

Christmas outing ... from Quilting Lots Moore Designs

Our Tuesdays girls had our yearly Christmas outing today.  This time we headed west and went to Palmerston North, which is about 1 hour 40 mins from here.  It's a bit longer these days because the gorge that you used to drive through has been closed for the last 18 months or so due to major slips.  The cost of repairing it was too major and a new road is going to be developed.  Unfortunately, it's going to take about another 6 years before that is completed!!  We are way down on the list of priorities.
