The Lemonade Quilt - Free Pattern Download from Quiltnotes All Blogs

This pattern is from Benartex (Kanvas Studio). The quilt finishes about 60" x 75".  It uses 27 pre-cut 10" squares along with some additional yardage. I made this several years ago for the shop to showcase a fabric collection from Kaffe Fassett. I didn't take a picture of that quilt.

Using all Kaffe Fassett fabrics.

Shows the backing fabric.

Shows the quilting

If you don't have any 10" squares you can cut your own. I use the GO! Big 10" square cutter from AccuQuilt. I think this would look awesome as a scrap quilt.

AccuQuilt GO! Big Electric ...

4-Patch: Finished size is 4". Made with 2-1/2" strips cut from width of fabric (WOF) of one dark and one light fabric. To really make the 4-patch pop, choose light and dark fabrics that contrast with the field fabrics ...

Stars Over Scott Quilt from Baby Boomer Quilting Bee

Quiet often, I find myself making another Stars Over Scott.  They are quick, large and great for masculine gifts. It is also one of my favorites and named for my son Scott.  The above quilt finishes at 86" X 98".

For this version, I used 6" (finished) HSTs -- it is the only block you need -- 164 of them.  The free pattern is linked here ... Stars Over Scott.

The recipient of this quilt will always be known for wearing plaid shirts.  I knew I had to find something plaid for backing.  I have to give credit to Andrea with Quiltingfor4, a ...

Sharon Holland’s First Kids Fabric Collection: Lilliput from Art Gallery Fabrics-The Creative Blog

Lilliput_banner BLOG

As someone who has been behind the scenes here at AGF,  I've had the honor and privilege of looking at collections come to life! Today I'm excited to finally see Sharon Holland’s first kids collection, Lilliput, live and in action. Now for me, this kids collection is the most unique I have ever seen, as Sharon really outdid herself by balancing adorable forest creatures, sweet florals, and tying them together with boho elements.

Lilliput is inspired by observing the natural world through a child’s imagination. Encounter sweet foxes and bunnies in forest shades of fern green ...

Andina_banner

I don't even know where to begin on this blog post because my excitement for today's collection release is more than what I can express in words! As someone who is from Peru, this collection means a lot more to me as it has a lot of prints that represent who I am and where I come from. As soon as I saw “Andina” in the works and why, my heart skipped a beat. Andina was inspired by the Andes culture, which takes a few elements from several countries on the western side of South America like their ...

Tranquil Oasis: Velvet Collection by Amy Sinibaldi from Art Gallery Fabrics-The Creative Blog

Velvet_banner BLOG

Does anyone have a specific area in their home that brings them bliss? For me, it’s my backyard where every time I need to relax or make important decisions, it’s the first place I go to. And over time, I’ve curated it to be my own little sanctuary, where I started my garden a couple of months ago and so, I placed a chair right in the center surrounded by some solar powered string lights and it’s the special part of my home that I can call mine. I bring this up because when I read ...
