Left Behind Lefty from Jo's Country Junction

My little Lefty is getting left behind. You might remember that I got Pancho and Lefty shortly after Christmas.  I think it was the 31st.  Lefty is the one on the left. Lefty had an approved adoption before he has even gone to the vet.  We thought he would be going to his home on […]

What A Week from Quarter-Inch Capers

I have been offline for a few days—literally. I finally got my internet connected today! I thought Bill had everything set up on autopay, but apparently not the internet. It was cut off on Sunday. Of course, they wouldn’t transfer it to me without a death certificate, so that took a couple of trips to the Optimum office. I was planning to get cable tv, so I went ahead and got that added to the account. I think I have all that done, and I’m currently working on getting the Verizon (phone) account transferred. They are not ...

A Bad Day from Quarter-Inch Capers

…Or maybe a bad week, or month, or whatever. I feel like I have a black cloud over my head. Ever since Bill got sick, there has been little good and a whole lot of bad. Today my dogs ran away! I had gone to Target to return an order, and when I got back my gate was open and they were gone. The company replacing the fiber optic cable were on my block today, and I am pretty sure they opened my gate and failed to close it. My dogs finally came back so that was a relief. They ...
