Sandwiching my layers, one method from Elaine Adair Pieces

 


While not a  perfect solution to a puckerless backing, the canned goods do a pretty good job, and even better, I can usually find these "weights" when I'm sandwiching a quilt before machine quilting.

Tirill Top 2 from Monas Creativity

This top is another Tirill Topp by idavictoria,no. Used short arms from patter, maybe they were a little too short. Fabric from Stofflykke; GOTS Jersey "Månekogen Hvit".
Last weekend I also made these weights, for placing on fabric/pattern when cutting. The description I found at idavictoria.no at Instagram. Works well, and according to my son, they work well for juggling too!
