New Year, New Purpose! from From the Strawberry Patch...

I have two traditions for New Year's Day: The first is to gather all the Christmas cards and disassemble them. Fronts are carefully removed from the backs, unless they're photo cards, and neatly stacked. Turkey..Pie..Nap…Oh MY! from Lisa H Calle's Blog

 

The sun is shining brightly in Hilton Head where I prepare to tee off for a round of golf; my second love in life. But before I venture into the rolling, green hills composed of 19 holes I wanted to wish all my fellow followers a Happy Thanksgiving.  I hope your plans include eating WAY too much turkey, indulging in a few holiday drinks and slumbering peacefully as Mr. Tryptophan slips you into nappy land.  Those are my intentions for the next 24 hours!

Happy New Year from the Pavones!

We made so many memories on our travels in 2017.
We are truly blessed and fortunate to be able to travel.

Mid-January took us to Nashville where we met great friends and visited the Jack Daniels Distillery, in nearby Lynchburg, as well as a 'behind the scenes' tour of the Jack Daniels Fire Brigade; met friends in Las Vegas; a Caribbean Cruise, in February, with Kathy and Stan (my sis and BiL); and a few RV trips ...

Happy New Year 2018 from From My Carolina Home

Another New Year begins, and once again I am going to spend this day doing the things that I want to do all year long.  I’ll be enjoying a nice breakfast with newly retired DH (that’s dear husband for new readers), watching the Rose Parade, doing a bit of sewing and maybe a bit of stamping, making a creative meal and having dinner at a pretty table.  I will not be doing any chores, although I may try to get in a walk on my treadmill so I can stay motivated this year.  I brought my money in ...
