Cotton Quilters' Guild June 2020--finally a meeting! from Fleur de Lis Quilts and Accessories

Like everyone else, the members of the Cotton Quilters' Guild have been under quarantine since March. Our last meeting was in February. Then, in March we had our annual sewing room tour. It was wonderful yesterday to see all the happy smiles and the beautiful projects everyone's been working on.

Of course, we had a bit of business to take care of. We've decided that hiring a bus to go to the Gulf States show in Slidell would be too difficult at this point. Many of the people who had planned to help us fill the bus have ...

It's November 2019 already and my presidency has come to an end. We'll meet one more time in December for our annual Christmas party, and that's it. We elected new officers who will take over in January. It's been fun and a barrel of laughs but also time consuming. I'll appreciate just showing up at meetings with my quilts.

Pam showed the goodies she bought at
Quilt Fest in Houston. There were several things
along with the Farm Girl Vintage 2 book and fabric.
Mostly I'll try to not run things! That's me ...

BRMQG October Meeting from Fleur de Lis Quilts and Accessories

So this month I had a Baton Rouge guild meeting, but the Cotton Quilters took the month off. We did just have the show.

But BRMQG has some things happening. Here are some Show and Share pictures. Can you tell this is the modern guild?
