Fun at the post office from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

Thankfully, the predicted ice storm didn't hit our area, and I hope no one else was severely affected by it. They had forecast significant ice, power outages, etc. I don't think our area was ever in the eye of that storm. 

Oh, the TV and surround sound system are gone! The guy came a little late but was happy to get the TV and thought it was a good deal. I'm not sure about the other stuff, but that's not my problem. That TV is heavy, but the guy picked it up from the front step ...

Make-A-List Monday - An Easy Week! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict


Hi, all!

I'm writing this tonight from a cabin near Chattanooga, where we are enjoying a week away from it all!  We are still basically sheltering in place, just in a different place, which is nice for a change.  We have a beautiful view of Nickajack Lake...

...and on that hill down below us (very very steep, which makes our deck very private!)...

...some beautiful horses, running, or more accurately, walking and grazing, free.  It's fun to watch them!

But enough of that for now - let's see how last week's list went!

Postage Stamp Swap from Becca's Crazy Projects

When I heard Mary (@mary_thecuriousquilter) was hosting a charm square swap I jumped in with both feet and my considerable collection of 2.5" squares of fabric. I've had some really good luck and some really bad luck with swaps in the past. I went into this one with high hopes and I was not disappointed.

Postage Stamp Quilt Swap from Becca's Crazy Projects

I've been trimming some of my smaller scraps into 2.5" squares for a while now. Here is my collection of little squares. I learned about a charm square swap hosted by the Curious Quilter on Instagram. This is often where I learn about all sorts of fun swaps.
