Kassia's Quilt is finished from Jan's Quilts

When my daughter Sharon asked me to make a quilt for her sons' half-sister, I was happy to do it.  Kassia is a great girl and in addition to my grandson, she has 3 brothers.  She's surrounded by boys!

Sharon says that every time Kassia visits her home, she wraps herself in a quilt.  Of course, since I'm a quilter, there are plenty of quilts, but Sharon wanted her to have one of her own.

This is my 8th finish this year.

 Gridwork by Christa Watson
 By Hand by Amy Friend
 Front Porch by Cherry Gundry

I thought they all worked very well together.
May your bobbins ...

Kassia's Quilt Top and some bokah! from Jan's Quilts

Kassia's quilt top is finished!  All those HSTs took forever to true-up but the effort was so worth it.  This quilt top measures 48" x 57".  Now I need to decide on the quilt back.  Do you piece your quilt backs, too?

There's photo overload in this post because I wanted to show the quilt top in the breeze and the bokeh!  This is the first time I've captured so much bokeh.

May your bobbins always be full,
