Road Scholar: Enchanting Ireland: Town and Country from With Strings Attached


 A trip to Ireland was just the right way to celebrate my 50th Road Scholar program!  Click on the tab to see the entire list.  We've met several RS 'centenarians' over the years and one man who'd been on 150+.  My parents went on a dozen Elderhostels (as it was then known) so I am second-generation.  Of all the Ireland tours offered I chose this one because, at the time, I didn't want to leave Stevens (with a caregiver) for too long.  I'm happy with all that I saw and did.

And Breathe from Midget Gem Quilts

And breathe. And relax. And just enjoy being in the moment. Enjoy looking at this quilt I made several years ago, must be about 15 years ago,  for my daughter.


For me the moment is writing this blog, or maybe it is just the tranquil music my husband is listening to, Glen Hansard, if you are interested. No, definitely the blog. We have been on our travels again, nearly 3 weeks in Japan. Loads to come about that. We came home, and my feeling of unwell came back again.
