The Future's Bright... from From the Strawberry Patch...

...for the next generation of quilt makers! Gregory was in the house today to quilt up his Star Wars top and get the binding attached. For him, to acclimate to the longarm and understand its workings were like a duck approaching a pond. How can ten years seemingly pass by in a blink while fifty one hours spent in a home without electricity drags on for what feels like forever? Someone needs to help me understand that mystery. Welcome Fall; We've Been Waiting! from From the Strawberry Patch...

At long last some cooler temperatures have arrived and it's feeling fall-like; the wait has been well worth it-- brisk mornings and pleasant afternoons under sapphire-blue skies. Quiltkeemosabe and I got together this week to work and compare notes on our progress with making, and writing up directions for, every one of the 202 six inch blocks from Rosemary Youngs' Quilt Block Bible.
