Time Marches On... from From the Strawberry Patch...

We celebrated 50 years of marriage on Saturday! It all hardly seems possible and yet here we are; blessed beyond measure and truly grateful for each and every day. Busy Days Ahead from Sew'n Wild Oaks Quilting Blog

 Hello Everyone,

It was a very busy and fun week last week as we traveled to Arizona for our granddaughter's college graduation.  This week I'm preparing for the Heart of the Valley Quilt and Textile Arts Show in Modesto where I've been asked to be the featured artist.

I will have product for sale in my booth......so I have to get that product ready to go! Please stop on by my booth so we can hug, and chat and you can enjoy the show.

We had a whirlwind trip to Arizona.  We left the cabin last ...

Graduations; What do they mean? from Nestlings By Robin

As our future steps out of the
shadow of their parents and wanders
into their own way of doing things,
I thought it might be fun to
remember some of our own
graduated ideas.

Who remembers the first time
we realized that we didn't HAVE TO

I had just the perfect combinations to work with!  Does anyone else work out colors/fabrics this way? I do love the end game . . .
Of course it still needs to be blanket stitched down, but ...

Building Relationships from Nestlings By Robin

In 2017 I was very excited to have a design chosen
by Connecting Threads for their catalog.
I had no idea at the time that it
would be the beginning of
something wonderful.
Meet Autumums...
Pattern still available
for download HERE

This sweet little design opened
the door for my continued design
work with a great team.
It has also allowed me to work
the Connecting Threads booth
at AQS shows and I will be
at the Spring show in Paducah
so come by and say HI:)

I am a bit more choosy with my
time and ...

Graduation and Elementals from Nestlings By Robin

THANK YOU CONNECTING THREADS
 for great write ups!
Meet Graduation...

We love how the graduating tones of this quilt provide the perfect backdrop for these gorgeous quilt blocks. This modern, stylish design is sure to brighten up any room!

Finished size: 60-1/2" x 72-1/2". $57

I had an idea of doing a series of blocks that used the same
components and graduate them in difficulty.
It turned out so well that we decided to do it in 2 fabric lines
in 2 different layouts.

Meet Elementals, named for the fun nature ...
