Quilts and Oregon Fires from Humble Quilts

Hubby and I had a quick overnighter planned for Saturday night. It was nice but we were smacked in the face with the reminder that although the Oregon fires are out the ramifications are ongoing.

How Can We Help? from Humble Quilts

 It is likely you've heard of the devastating fires here in the Pacific Northwest. When the entire town of Paradise, CA burned quilters jumped into action. My niece and I went to Chico to deliver quilts and it was so rewarding. If you want to jump back real quick it is pretty heartwarming what ya'll did for the survivors of that horrible fire. Quiltalongs and Fires from Humble Quilts

I'll start with the heroes of my state. 
Approx 900,000 acres have burned in Oregon the past few days. Small fires got massive really fast and overtook complete towns. My heart is so heavy right now because of the destruction. 
It seems when disasters happen people jump into action to help each other. It doesn't matter if you are left, right, white, black, rich or poor. You need help? Yep! Let's do it!
