I am so dumb, last night I finished my post, and went to bed… leaving it on “draft” .. not published, but thinking I had published it for this morning. So here I am, all my dorkiness in tow… I’ve made for this hop a simple project, nothing big or fancy, but something I haven’t done before. I absolutely love novelty prints tho. Next to blenders they are my favorite print to work with. Even tho I don’t do it that often. Normally when I work with novelty prints, I either fussy cut the area I want or ...

I loved how all the bloggers did such cool projects yesterday. Whether it’s new or old, even not finished, seeing what we do with fabrics, prints, novelties, batiks, is always so inspiring. The very reason I love sewing and quilting so much is that I can create the same project over and over, but each different fabric I use tells me its own story. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone else’s projects today and Monday. Keep in mind you have up to a week to enter each of the giveaways. There are 10 different giveaways in all ...

Next to blenders, novelty prints are my absolute favorite fabrics to use in quilts. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE them. We have ten wonderful bloggers who are going to show you new and some old projects they’ve created with novelty prints, and Timeless Treasures sent me 15 absolutely wonderful bundles of fabrics all novelty prints to offer as giveaways for prizes. This is a short bloghop ...

read moreIt’s not even an oops, I forgot… I blundered and put the wrong bags on the living room couch for my hubby to take to work. I have to tell you the whole story for you to understand why I goofed up so badly. You see, when we lived in Italy, and I learned about the row by row experience, I was lucky enough to have several people send me some row patterns back in 2015. By that time, I was teaching Sarah how to sew, and had created a group of moms who also lived on and around ...
read moreMy first EQ8 tutorial since it came out and it’s longer than even I’d anticipated it was going to be. I really edited out a lot of stuff to get it to an hours length, so I do apologize that it’s lengthy, but you all know I try to give as much info as possible. I’m not one who makes tons of 2 minute videos so you can watch 50 different pages of videos on the same thing or in parts, I like to get it all in the same video, so my video lessons always ...
