Grab your favorite jelly roll or gather up some fabric strips and get ready to have some basket-making fun.  This project by Atkinson Designs is easy to do and looks lovely!

You do need some special products to help prepare the strips for being woven, but they are easily purchased if you don’t already have them.

The tutorial takes you through the entire process with instructions and plenty of photos.  It does take a bit of time, but the result is definitely worth it.

We are having a gorgeous Easter long weekend with beautiful sunny days. Even the resident magpie family agree and have been out and about checking out the Autumn foliage.

With Easter around the corner, I’ve wanted to make easter egg shaped bath bombs. However, I didn’t want to buy specific bath bomb grade molds for this task. I used this bath bomb recipe that I posted on my blog earlier this month. I ended up going to the dollar store (specifically Dollarama) to pick up some inexpensive fillable eggs.
