Challenges from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

Excellent --- thanks for the comments about the light. It appears that I'll be switching to LED light. I'll get to work on some research when I get home and find myself an electrician. Thanks!! I know I had purchased different replacement bulbs that are relatively expensive, but I don't remember the details at the moment. So more on that over the next week.

Did anyone watch the video I posted last week about Ricky Tims and his quilt, entitled 'The Visitation? His artist statement referred to the use of AI in the design of the quilt, although ...

The LONG drive home from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

What a fantastic time we all had at the embroidery workshop! Thanks to Thimble Quilts and Sewing Company for hosting that event. Everyone learned so much, and we all had fun, made new friends, laughed - thankfully, no crying. And only one person had any seam ripping to do, and that was me!

On one of our projects, I strongly encouraged everyone to NOT work on a real quilt, but just a fabric sandwich. Let's say that I learned from the previous two machine embroidery workshops I've done.

Read the manual! from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

I remember the story!

Yes -- as I was returning to my parents' place and driving down the highway, I remembered, and this time I remember this morning! Of course, it had to do with driving, and with the trauma of that ticket -- it went out of my mind!

Home again! from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

WOW --- what an amazing two days I had at Stitch by Stitch in Kingston! Thanks to Heather, Natalie, and all the other staff, for hosting me, and thanks to all the people who attended. To those who didn't get a chance to attend, talk to Heather so we can reschedule! EVERYONE learned a TON of stuff about accessories for their embroidery/sewing/sergers, garment making, and machine embroidery. Better yet, they had questions, and we went down a few rabbit holes, but everyone learned some NEW things about their machines!

I love how Heather advertises events on her store ...

Face to face from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

If you follow the blog for photos -- there are none today! Not because I didn't take any, but because I can't decide which ones to use! And I can't believe some people love my girls more than me! I'm kidding -- they are much cuter than I am, and it's more entertaining when they jump up on the couch than if I do it! I get that! Those attention-stealers!

I'm back on my laptop at the end of Ontario, and I'll deal with the photos tomorrow. Yes -- I'm in Windsor, Ontario, this morning ...
