Prismata is Bejeweled and FINISHED!! from Mama Spark's World

I realize you all saw Prismata after I finished coloring him in with the pencils.I wanted to mimic the bubbles from the original drawing using crystals.I finally got brave enough to give it a try a few days ago.HE  IS  AWESOME!!!I have him pinned on my design wall.It is covering some pictures so that's why he looks a little wavy.You can see how I placed the crystals.I put a few in the outer

Witches Altar Cloths from Bizarre Quilter

Wow, I really think this altar cloth has it all: phases of the moon, crystals, plants, sacred geometry, stars, and a spark of something else. I've used coloured threads to highlight the design inculding a multi coloured thread for the secret flower of life sacred geometry.


This next altar cloth is titles "The Green Witch". 

She is connected to nature, so much so that she looks to be enjoying her garden in the all together!

Road to California 2020, Part I: The Quilt Show from Gefilte Quilt

Road to California, a terrific quilt show, took place last week, ending on Sunday. There was something for everyone - traditional, art, modern, and group quilts; challenges, guild raffle quilts, and more than a dozen wildly diverse special exhibits. Great classes. Hallway massage. Uniformed Boy Scouts who, for a small donation, watch your bags while you shop. Tons of vendors.

Also, it's next to a mellow, convenient little airport - you could walk from the Ontario, California airport to the convention center. So it's not surprising that this warm and welcoming show attracts 50,000 viewers, plus entrants and vendors ...
