Stamping Christmas Cards from From My Carolina Home

I do enjoy making cards, and holiday cards are such fun. With the price of stamps these days, I want the card to be worth sending. I’m doing better this year, getting my cards out in plenty of time for them to arrive before the big day. I got these Christmas theme die cuts a couple of months ago, and now is the time to use them.

These two have essentially the same design, three layers of card stock, with a Merry Christmas stamp and a die cut on top. The ornaments and the train are on dimensional foam ...

BEACHY CARDS from Kwilty Pleasures

These cards were made at the beach
while I was on vacation in October.

I didn't have room to take a sewing machine
so I decided to make all occasion cards.

I get all the pieces and parts prepared before
I go to my vacation.  Then I put them all together
when I have down time.

 I did find a Flamingo!

And some seashells

Enjoy the variety!

JUST A CARD..or few from Kwilty Pleasures

I like to recycle the front of a pretty card
that I may receive from someone,
to make a new card.

Like this beautiful tree and bird.

I can always use a Thank You card.

I made this pretty sympathy card with scraps and a tiny dragonfly!

I had lots of back and white scraps
when a bit of mustard and a swarm of bees happened.

I like to stamp my own designer paper.
These sunflowers were too fun!

How about some dragonflies to brighten your day?

Hey, I found some bee papers.

I also picked some flowers for these ...

GAL-ENTINE DAY of CARDS from Kwilty Pleasures

I like to make cards.
I like my peeps who enjoy making cards.
I like lunch with those friends...
so I had a Gal-tine gathering to cover all those things.

I set a pretty table and the centerpiece
was their card kits and take home items.

The basket (with card kits)
A OUI yogurt cup with some cardmaining supplies,
I made Chai tea mix and the cute Valentine fabric coasters.

Cherie, Vikki and me.

Francine and me

Shannon

As soon as lunch was finished we
made some great cards!
Everyone had a kit for each card.
They could pick their ...

BEAT TTUN!!!! from Kwilty Pleasures

If you know anything about me...you know
I love THE Ohio State Buckeyes.
College football is my favorite
thing to watch on Saturdays.

I also enjoy making some OSU note cards.
I was lucky enough to purchase the stamp and die cuts
for them...before there were licensing issues.

Take a look at some sets I have put
together for hostess football party gifts...
or whatever screams scarlet and gray!

Lately I have enjoyed using black card bases
and Plaids for these fun cards.

I try to make various designs.

The hardest or most tedious part of making these ...

SUCH A CARD! from Kwilty Pleasures

I finally got back to some card making.
I have some Quilty looking designer paper
This simple card came out quite nice!

I sometimes mass produce card making pieces and parts.
Like these Christmas boughs with pine cones.
I gather designer papers, ribbons,
that can go together with them

I just love how pretty these boughs are with the metallic paper

For this card I left the bough designs in one larger piece.
Above the boughs were cut into 3 sections

I sometimes just make bases with colors I like.
Theses may end up with bee designs…May-bee!

and oh ...
