Housedresses from TheEclecticAbuela

I like to wear housedresses.

They are comfortable, cool, and if someone comes to the door (or I need to take out the trash!), they are modest and presentable. Don't get me wrong--if the house is cold in the winter, you will usually find me in sweatpants and a flannel shirt--but, since we heat our very small house with a large woodstove, my house is rarely cold!

Voorbereidingen from Quilting Mathilda

 At this moment I am busy with the preparations for the Claudine quilt to be sandwiched and quilted.

Eindelijk is het zover, ben bezig met de voorbereidingen van deze quilt, tussenvulling is in huis,evenals de achterkant.

Quiltsjablonen bijelkaar gezocht en een boek ter inspiratie:

 

Found a nice book for inspiration.

Een fijn boek met duidelijke voorbeelden.

Nu alleen nog twee latten om te dubbelen halen.

Neanwhile busy with a snall project from the book underneath.

Ondertussen ben ik met een tussendoor project bezig voor pasen.

Wat een enig boek is dit, iets totaal anders wat ik normaal maak, maar ...

Quilts and clothes from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

Where is the time going? It's the 9th of March, and I'm far behind where I would like to be at this time. OK -- not so far behind, but it feels like I'm way behind. And about the only thing I can work on right now are my presentations (two more French ones to finish up) and the homework for the sew alongs -- there are five different classes this weekend - the homework for NONE of them is finished. Although I am making progress. 

Note to self -- I will NOT be doing so many sew alongs next year ...
