Out with the old and in with the new! from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

Mission accomplished! The two (lengthy) presentations are together! I love putting the presentations together, and I spend quite a bit of time sewing, taking pictures, scouring the internet for inspiration or ideas, and amassing the information into a somewhat cohesive storyline that makes sense!

And I learn so much from doing that. It's amazing what you can find on the internet these days. And yes -- you must be careful that what you see makes sense. It has to make sense to you, but it might not make sense to the next person. Or you may not like the idea ...

Greeting everyone! Here's an update on my life. First, my Janome 11000 is in the hospital. I miss that machine but I know that it needs a great cleaning of which there hasn't been in "years."

And then there's this little problem.

Can you see that little red blob laying underneath his mom? Well just the other day, one of those very cold 25 degree, wind blowing at 15 miles per hour days......well this little guy was laying very near the fence where his mommy left him for whatever crazy reason...and what did he do ...

Rainy Day Saturday! from Joanie's Trendy Quilts

We certainly have had our fair share of rain in Charlotte, NC this winter. One can expect a day of sunshine followed with 2 or more days of rain. This morning it appeared as though it was going to be another rainy day when about noon the sun came out. When it did, it encouraged me to go out and enjoy it while it lasted. Of course, it needs to be productive, such as a trip to Michael’s to pick up 4 more skeins of yarn.

My next stop was at Target looking for a pair of garden boots ...

Witch's Boots from Bits From The Scrap Basket

I've been too busy quilting to post, but I have so much to share! This is my favorite project from the last 4 months - Quilt Art Design's Witch's Boots! I've been drooling over this pattern for two years, and, with the quilt room all sorted, I finally had the time to do it!

It looks a little wonky in the photo, but it turned out beautiful after quilting and binding. And speaking of quilting....
