BLOOMS from Q-BITS



This quilt has been a real struggle for me to complete.

#1 It's rather boring to look at.

#2  It was repetitive to work on -- many small pieces in all the same colors/fabrics.

#3  I always struggle with pastel quilts.

#4  For some reason, I kept having many interuptions making it hard to focus.

Oh well, it's done.  What are your thoughts?

THE STATS:  Blooms, 2025, 28" x 28", Paper Pieced, Machine Pieced, Machine Quilted.  Number nerd report:  425 total pieces in the 25 4-inch blocks; plus 256 pieces in the sashing and border.

 Good heavens.......I've not been posting so quite some time. Here's a bit of what I've been doing in not certain order.

My community group hosted a car show. It was so much fun. The white Chevy truck took first place.

I won Best in Show and Go Texan at our County Fair. My quilt will go to Houston sometime in 2023.


Our church did a picnic in the the cemetery which sounds weird but we all had a blast fellowshipping and having lunch.

Look at this beautiful bloom!!

Blooming in June from Ravelly1
