Does the quilt look familiar to you?  It might.  We had this quilt in our shot as a down load.  Kelli and I made this quilt back in about 2016 or so when we contemplated possibly writing another quilt book.

We both just loved this quilt…we loved the simple quick design…and super easy as it started out with squares.

Lookie, Lookie!!  I made the cover of American Patchwork and Quilting.  It’s always exciting whenever we have a quilt published and even more exciting if we can be the cover!!

Have you seen the latest issue of American Patchwork and Quilting?  This is the one just about to hit your mailbox or the newsstand.  It is issue #170 that says to display until June 4th.  The magazines used to have a month listed on the front cover but I couldn’t see a month listed.  Anyway…it’s this issue…

Our quilt is called Star Crossed Lovers.  The quilt started out several years ago.  At the time, Quiltmaker had a magazine that came out Spring and Fall call Quiltmaker’s 100 blocks.  They would ask designers to submit 12″ blocks.  Well, this is the block we submitted.

That block stayed on my brain and finally I put it together into this quilt…

I have something fun to show you…my quilt!!

What do you think?  It’s totally not my normal quilt at all.  This was a big venture for me as I typically don’t make “fussy” quilts and this was a little fussier than I am used to.  I do love it and I did have a ton of fun making it.
