MASSIVE Fabric Stash Organization! 15 years of hoarded sewing supplies … from Quilt Addicts Anonymous

My stash was well beyond embarrassing. Not just the amount of fabric and projects I’ve accumulated in 15 years of sewing, but the stacks of bins just filled with fabric with absolutely no organization.

I needed to clear out the back room that my stash has been hoarded in for the past four years and I decided it was time to actually organize it instead of just move the mess.

I documented the process on TikTok and we have pulled all the videos together here so you can see me transform my fabric hoard from a flaming dumpster fire ...

Quilting to Process Grief: Six Quilts in Four Months from Quilt Addicts Anonymous

From Courtney, our video editor:

In November 2022, my dad died. In the following months, I found myself in need of a project to process the anger, sadness, and loss I was feeling.

While going through his possessions, I realized how many T-shirts my dad had collected during his life. He had shirts dating back to the 1970s and my family and I had clear memories of them.

It became clear to me what I needed to do. I was not a quilter. I had pieced one-and-a-half quilt tops, but had not completed the process from beginning to end all ...

Quilt Market Vlog 2022! from Quilt Addicts Anonymous

Quilt Market came back for the first time since the pandemic started and it lined up perfectly with my daughter’s fall break, so I bought tickets for her first plane ride ever to bring her along with me.

Then I found out Quilts Inc, which hosts Market, has a minimum age of 14. Whoops! Thankfully they were super gracious and allowed us to come with media badges in exchange for vlogging the experience!

So you get to come along on the trip with us, as we experience flight delays, a late night drive across Texas, a trip to the ...

Quilt Shop Fabric vs. JoAnn Fabrics … Can I Feel the Difference? from Quilt Addicts Anonymous

OK, so I talk a big game about how there is a big difference between the quality of fabric you can buy at a quilt shop like Quilt Addicts Anonymous and chain stores. So we figured it was time to put it to the test.

I sent my team to JoAnn Fabrics to pick 10 quilting fabrics. Then they blindfolded me and tested whether I could tell by feel alone if I was holding chain store fabric or quilt shop quality fabric.

Check out the video to see how I did. Then go shop our buy four, get the fifth ...

Why we’re not reopening our Brick & Mortar store … from Quilt Addicts Anonymous

It’s Small Business Saturday, so I thought I’d take a minute to chat about Quilt Addicts Anonymous, how we got to this point and why we’re going to focus on being an online store only going forward.

I am really proud of what we’ve created at Quilt Addicts Anonymous. With your support ...

We’re still in the tiny two bedroom house my husband and ...
