What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

The Size Matters ...

It’s been a bit since I’ve listened to an audiobook. When I was driving to Des Moines to see Wicked, I knew a book would be a great companion, so before I left, I made sure I had an audiobook downloaded. It was easy for me to pick Rage by Linda Castillo. I’ve loved her …

Last Monday, I went to the doctor…I actually had two appointments. I’ll start out by telling you about the doctor…The whole experience was frustrating. Remember I told you that I saw a doctor and she told me I had a cyst in the nasal pharynx area. For most of the last month, I have been …

I heard of a restaurant that serves everything on a potato so you know I’m going to give this a try.

Last week I slow cooked a pork butt, simmered it in sauce and used it to top a baked potato. This week I had chicken fajitas on a baked potato.

Baked my potato, added some butter. Topped it with chicken, onions, peppers and cheese. Not gonna lie it was tasty. Next up Philly cheese steak on a sweet potato. I’ll let you know how it is.

Someone sent me this and I honestly thought it was a spoof or joke. Well I was wrong. They have now rewritten the bible to rewrite 8 sections that refer to same sex relationships. Supposedly its to clear up the homophobic attitude in the church.

If you read stuff like this you can’t help but to hope Jesus will return soon. God says that lifestyle is a sin but He still loves his children that live like that. He will judge all of us for how we lived when the time comes but thinking you can rewrite God’s ...

I am slowly quilting this Cherrywood Teri’s Color Theory alternately quilting and picking out some quilting I don’t like. Changing quilting as I go is a bit of a risk because I’ve already quilted an area, essentially poking a lot of holes into the quilt itself. And there are questions: am I damaging the quilt?… Continue reading I’m quilting! I’m quilting!

Bought some new panels because yes I needed more fabric lol. I’m not a big fan of panels because I can’t find a pattern I really like using for them but I can’t wait to see how these work out.

For years I wanted a boat and ended up buying a kayak. Sometimes I really miss it but I can truly say I dont have the navigational skill to own a boat. I once paddled around a local park and ended up in the gulf near the shipping channel and my brother sent the coast guard to find me because I couldn’t see land once a storm came in. That being said, I might have found one I like so reconsidering. LOL
