A Little Bit of Applique from Stitchin at Home

A few teaser photos of what I'm working on. I can if real life doesn't get in the way show you at least a finished top by weeks end.

I have been chasing a squirrel this past week or so. I have been intrigued by New York Beauties and some day I may make a traditional one, but not now. I've taken the idea on a bit of a ride. I had no clue where I was headed when I started.

A Bit of Improv from Stitchin at Home

Disclosure: I don't do improv well, I like structured blocks. But let's give it a whirl and just see what happens. Maybe it will be a reject or a keeper. You be the judge.

I toss bits and pieces in small containers, you know just in case you need that one piece you just tossed. It was time to come up with a game plan to use some of them up. Improv piecing here I come.

Splash of Colour Progress from Stitchin at Home

What Happened to October? from Stitchin at Home

I'm not sure where the time has gone. I feel like I blinked and all of a sudden it's November. It's not that I didn't do anything in October, I did. I'll let you be the judge.

There was a mystery tour through my guild. It was a great day with lots of laughter and shopping at some great quilt shops.
