Thankful Thursday - February 10 from Melva Loves Scraps

Thankful Thursday could easily find me grumbling and griping... BUT! I refuse to do that... Despite the issues I have had with our desktop computer shutting down and poor sleep and various commitments that have kept me out of my studio, I am here to say I am still thankful!

I am ever so grateful that the computer has continued to re-start, and I can get some of the most important and immediately needed documents saved to an external hard drive. Whew!

While we have been fortunate enough to have suffered mild symptoms (very mild for me), we feel like we are functioning at about 80% and I am SOOOOOOOO happy to be out of the guest room! The Passenger Project from Samelia's Mum

It started out as a project for when we travelled to the US, the year before last. A big tin filled with prepared 1" hexagons to create hexie flowers, which I ended up using to make my Kingfisher Quilt. It's still one of my most favourite quilt finishes to date.
