Good morning, and happy Thursday, everyone! Thanks to my blog-reader-friend Diane in Texas, SAMWISE LEARNED HOW TO GO DOWN THE STAIRS YESTERDAY!!! After reading my post about how I was carrying my 50-pound Rottweiler puppy down a flight of stairs every morning, Diane emailed me with step-by-step training instructions to get Samwise over his fear of the stairs, and they worked like a charm. It took me all of 5 minutes, y'all, and this morning he came down the stairs all on his own. I am eternally grateful, Diane, and so is my back!!

This morning when I woke up, I checked the weather like I always do. Imagine my surprise when I saw that they were predicting 1-3 inches of snow for us! Well, in Tennessee that doesn't mean much - we get lots of predicted snow that never happens. But at 7 a.m. I looked out the window.....

Monday, Monday, can't trust that day... did you ever wonder why you couldn't trust Monday? I actually like Monday and the fresh start it gives us! And today's was especially fun, as the grandkids were out of school and I got to spend time with them. I'm going to like living closer!

But enough about that - let's see how last week's list went. (Please bear in mind that I had a wicked cold most of last week that is just now vacating the premises...)

This week has been dedicated to getting things in order at our new home. Granted, I've been doing that while battling a cold - why do we always seem to get colds at the most inopportune times? But I have made some headway in the process.

Isn't that a lovely studio? Not mine, I'm afraid - but I'm always interested in seeing other folks' sewing spaces and how they organize them.

In the past, I've taken the week between Christmas and New Year's to deep clean and organize my own studio.
