Very interesting. I like the blank space which is a great space for some quilting.

I love the second design! The stars just shine.

I like the colours in this series, green, green and green. It works because of the contrast.

I find it hard to pick a favourite between these two designs.

Interesting. I like putting stars on dark backgrounds … after all, it is the only way we see real stars.

My favourite for today is the second one.

Yesterday the designs were red and white applique, today they are green pieced.

The design above is my favourite today.

Today there are areas that quilting could be added, yesterday the quilting designs I would use are there.

Unusual, interesting and eye catching!

My comment is the same as the first, but with different added!

How to quilt the light areas in the second is a good question.

Interesting and different but with a touch of the traditional, the sort of quilt designs I like.

Hard to decide which of these two I like most. Think I will make it the first one.

Starry, starry night!

Not so many stars in the second design, but it is my favourite for today … I like the empty space waiting for some quilting lines to be added.

I love the star blocks around the outside of the first design today.

I love the center block in the second when compared to the other very similar blocks … the only difference is the more open appearance due to a different fabric, the background fabric, used for eight very skinny triangles.

Interesting, but I don’t ever see myself making such a pink quilt!

Not a lot less pink, but this one would be much easier to live with!

Interesting … at first glance all the star blocks are identical, but five of them are a bit different.

Same border stars, then a row of different stars, and the ones in the centre have more points again!

A few years ago I started a heap of block design projects, and they can be identified by the colours I used … this is one of them!

I like the one above … nice, different … and in case you haven’t noticed, green!

The applique border is great!

Another interesting design … perhaps I should teach myself to like piecing quilts!

I love playing with block designs to get a collection of blocks which all have some identical features … which then flow easily throughout a quilt design.

The star used right around the outside in the second design is the block I started with, after some time playing with the lines I have about twenty blocks.

Some lines were removed, others added, but the white points in the corners of the blocks unify the designs, even when some of them are coloured

I like the first design, love the second.

The stars in the second design look as though they are trying to imitate a major star.
