read moreI love the first one … I would make the blocks big enough to fit whatever size bed it was going to be used on, but add more plain border to hang over the side of the bed.
The second design is too busy … no room for quilting, or for my eyes to rest.

I like the second design best … the change of border makes quite a difference. The first one was nice, but it faded away around the edge … the second design has a stronger finish.

read moreMy garden features lots of pink, and lots of green … far too much as much of the green at the moment is weeds.
However, in virtual and real quilts I can limit the amount of green, and I love the results.
Less blocks, smaller quilt unless the blocks are enlarged, but still pretty.
