9-Patch Pivot: A new version in bright, cheery prints from Carried Away Quilting

Hello quilting friends! I’m popping in today to show you some blocks I’ve made for a cheerful new version of my 9-Patch Pivot pattern. I’m using the Lollipop Garden collection by Lella Boutique for Moda. Aren’t the colors glorious?

My 9-Patch Pivot pattern calls for just 21 fat quarters plus 1 1/4 yards of neutral, so fabric selection is fun and easy. The quilt finishes at 66" x 77". My pattern includes detailed photographs for both block construction and trimming.

Reprise and Somebody Had Her Face Washed from Fret Not Yourself

This is the other baby-size top from that old nine-patch exchange. The tan is the same fabric as the center of the previous quilt but the blue and red are different. And all of these blues and red were used up making these two quilts. Yea!

Nine Patch Top is Finished! from AnneElizablog

Finish it up 15! 2015, that is. This 9 Patch quilt has been sitting in pieces in a plastic box for some time. I pulled it out and realized that it was almost done. So I finished sewing the blocks together, went out and bought some batting, and spray basted it. I brought it to the DC Modern Quilt Guild meeting last Saturday where I began hand quilting it. I am using perle cotton #8 to quilt it which is new for me. I think it's going to go quickly!
