What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

So I've been thinking about what project I wanted to work on now that my studio is all done.  Finally work is slow, the studio is cleaned and I have time to sew.  But WHAT??  Lord knows, I have a ton of unfinished projects from all the false starts of the last couple of years.   I also have a couple of big ideas in my head for new original projects that I can't seem to let go.  Hmmmmmm

So the Spring Spruce of my studio continues this week.  How come with this type of project, things always look worse before they look better?  Right now there are boxes every where, shelves pulled apart and barely room to move.  UGH!!  On the bright side, I've been finding things I've stashed in there.  Among them is my collection of old Art of the Day Calendar sheets that I've been saving for inspiration.  I was just about to chuck   file them away, when I thought of a good use!!

You would think looking at my bookcases that I have enough art, quilt, surface design books.. Apparently not.  This week, I finally gave in to my wishlist and bought, Wen Redmond's Digital Fiber Art. I've been wanting it forever but hadn't had the right project where I really needed it.

If I could  I would take the whole month of January off from life.  While the whole world is making New Year's Resolutions, I'm struggling just to complete my daily routine.  After 50 years of it, I don't fight it because its really only 31 days and sooner or later it will be February  This year it was a little worse than normal but as the days get longer, the sun on the banks of Lake Erie is out a bit more  and I slowly come awake.
